Lilian Elizabeth Brink was born in Bloemfontein and matriculated in 2016. Her interest in drawing and photography was prominent from a young age and formed the foundation for her interest in art and design. She obtained her BA degree in Fine Arts (cum laude) in 2021 and is currently completing a higher certificate in Game Design and Entertainment Media, aiming to specialize in 3D graphics and game technology.

She enjoys experimenting with a wide variety of media, including mixed-media drawing, digital art, printmaking and photography. She often explores themes relating to the unpredictable and transformative nature of time and the variety of human experiences and perceptions of the world around us. She is also interested in the narrative quality of images and environments.

For the future, she hopes to explore the growing relationship between art and technology, as well as how the two can be combined to create new imagery and ideas.
